Ecology

Ecology

Ecology seems to be something new, which causes a lot of ink to flow, not always spoken about wisely, vociferating and condemning other people.

Ecology must above all be the serene respect for Nature.

This includes or contains minerals, plants, animals and humans.

When, in order to advance one's ideas, even ecological ones, one condemns, one prevents, one blocks roads, railways or even one strikes, it is logical to ask questions about the good faith of these supposed holders of the truth about ecology.

Advancing ecology by fighting those who supposedly oppose it is sectarianism or the application of dictatorship.

In my opinion, ecology must be a personal attitude, first of all positive towards Nature with all that it encompasses. Installing the fight, the condemnation, the eradication to eliminate the bad thinker seems to be from another age where we saw like the dead Phoenix reborn from its ashes.

Being gentle and understanding with nature does not go with war against those who would be anti-nature. Today's losers would be tomorrow's winners and all nature would lose.

Convincing by setting an example of integrity by creating strong, very strong, honest and upright associations that 100/100 apply the principles of biodiversity as the economy and people's thinking allow it seems to me to be more effective in terms of overall cost.

My father was retired in the upper Hérault near the Larzac Camp. One day he witnessed this incident very closely. During an environmentalist gathering at Larzac in 1981, my father was near Vacquerie where a helicopter dropped off Mr. René DUMONT (a renowned environmentalist). He got on a bicycle presented to him by a valiant defender of the cause and joined the environmentalists who were waiting for him a kilometer and a half further, congratulating him as he arrived on his bike.

My dad, very close to him when he arrived, asked him this question: Doesn't it bother you this mimicry of arriving discreetly by helicopter without it being seen and joining the demonstration by bike to make a good impression? He didn't get an answer... The journalists, however on the lookout for everything and missing nothing, saw nothing of this incident...

During my professional life I have visited a large number of countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. Without a doubt, anyone who visited the Eastern countries in the years 1989-90-91 cannot deny that it was in these countries that ecology was most badly treated.

All the lakes in Poland were polluted, around Katowice, a mining region, within a 30 kilometer radius every tree, bush, car and everything was covered with a thick layer of black dust.

In Albania where I was sent by UNIDO I saw a black river flowing into the Pogradec lake (although protected and containing a soft-fleshed fish unique in Europe) the debris of a coal mine of which it was the only waste dump. In Elbasan, the steel complex of Albania, it was necessary to clean the dust from the tables in town to sit on the terrace of a café. A black cloud constantly hung over the factory and the town. I also saw mid-mountains where the trees had been completely razed, leaving free rein to erosion.

In Romania I saw around cement factories for kilometers with cars or flat surfaces as well as trees cement dust. Rivers the colors of cement or coal.

In all these countries I lived and saw living conditions that had not been seen in France for a long time.

I cannot suggest that ecology must be politicized. For my part, I try to respect nature by driving a car with 93g of CO2 emissions per kilometer (one of the least polluting on the market), I have a garden where no fertilizer or phytosanitary products enter. I buy products that are as much as possible 100/100 Original. I dare say that the AB acronym is not always correct, yet it is defended by so-called environmentalists. Being an environmentalist means loving Nature as a whole by trying, each with their possibilities and their state of progress, to live and make ecology live every day, wherever we are and where we work.

Being an environmentalist must be seen on and around a person without needing to demonstrate or proclaim it. Being an environmentalist is a state of mind above all.
