The cause

The cause(s)

The word cause is used in various senses. First of all, in everyday language, it designates the origin of a certain effect or determines a phenomenon. Ex: the presence of a flint on a rural road explains the bursting of a car tire; in this case, it is an immediate cause.

In other situations the cause of an effect may be distant, even very distant. The choice of a career at school leading to a profession that is disappearing: wooden clogs or textiles in France.

In all effects observed at time (T) there is at least one cause. There may be several concomitant ones, that is to say contributing to the same apparent effect today.

Whether the effects are salutary, positive, joyful or negative in social, economic, material life or leading to the destruction of health: they all have one or more causes.

The current economic crisis is the negative result of a set of causes; it is what we can call a consequence that is often serious for a large number of people and beneficial for some…

Crisis: sudden violent manifestation of a disorder (health, work, society, security, etc.) Isn't a crisis just the consequence of multiple causes? In our time focused on immediate happiness, advantages of all kinds, apparent comfort, ambient ease, laxity, marketing, profit or the use of ease to ward off the consequences is the objective of our society.

For every misfortune in our society, well-intentioned people legislate, create agencies, associations, vaccines and a plethora of drugs reimbursed or not, then food supplements and finally a cohort of pharmacies promising you to find your soul mate or to find love, work, happiness, the joy of living, wonder, spiritual elevation, enlightenment etc. for a few pennies or big pennies in some cases alas and it works. In many of the parades that I have just mentioned or honesty, integrity, sincerity, dedication or even disinterestedness of big profit.

It doesn't work! Social security in chronic and growing deficit and a general discontent that is chronically setting in. France, the leading nation in tranquilizer consumption? Isn't that proof?

The evidence is numerous: agencies for this and that (food, health, environment, etc.), associations for this and that (battered women, unhappy childhoods, childless men and all specific associations for many so-called orphan diseases, etc.)

Do all these steps reduce or eradicate: crimes, diseases, the inconveniences for which they are created? You will answer for yourselves.

The expenditure to mitigate the consequences is constantly increasing, the results announced by the authorized bodies and the complicit media are encouraging, on the other hand the number of sick people is increasing, the malaise in society, also the courts are overflowing with work, the prisons are not numerous enough, etc. All this is negative.

Let’s get to what interests me: global or holistic health. It is reasonable and honest to look for the origin of any health problem and if we find it, to understand it, analyze it, know it, and finally measure all its consequences in order to: identify it, destroy it, reduce it, make it disappear. This is generally what we do in dowsing when someone comes to you asking for help.

I will now review a number of social facts, diseases or syndromes, trying to find their causes.

Alzheimer’s: have we looked for the cause(s)?
