Sleep is a phase of our daily life. It is necessary for our vitality and our health and this throughout our life. It should be noted that it is not necessary to sleep through the night in one go to be sure of having slept well enough. Isn't the proof of having slept well the feeling of being well rested, relaxed in the morning when getting up, without feeling tired? Isn't sleep or nighttime rest intended to erase the fatigue of the past day? There is day and night. One with the light necessary to carry out the activities essential to our sustainability and to give plants the vibrations necessary for photosynthesis. The night when light is absent is intended to allow plants and, for the most part, animals to rest. Indeed, it is recognized that daytime sleep is much less restorative.

The role of sleep

Sleep allows our body, preferably during the night (with the moon) to regenerate. It is made in such a way that its permanent self-programming readjusts itself according to our metabolism and our close or less close environment and according to the intensity of disturbances or fields favorable to our life. Our body is designed to regenerate automatically during our periods of rest provided that it is in good conditions.
These good conditions are numerous. Nowadays, modernism complicates our day and night environment on a daily basis. It constantly distances us from these good conditions to be established. Is the current trend changing? I don't know. We are the country that uses the most tranquilizers, anxiolytics, antidepressants and sleeping pills in the world.

The risks of certain medications

I am not saying that in certain circumstances we should not consume them. But should we not rather analyze the person's background? That is to say, their eating habits, cultural habits, work, social life, and their living and resting environment. The fact of absorbing so many products is already, in my opinion, unsuitable. But, winning the inglorious prize of world champion of tranquilizer consumption is appalling.

Does Social Protection really protect us?

The progress of pharmacy, pharmacopoeia, laboratories, marketing, reimbursement by social security, mutual insurance companies, 100% coverage of care and medication for some, have led us to be dependent on chemistry. This leads us to behave towards our body in the same way as a student making writing mistakes. He uses the eraser on his essay sheet to find it immaculate as before.

Easy solutions

It is because products, which are always toxic, exist that we do not spare our bodies. However, we know that miracle or pseudo-miraculous drugs do not exist. Nevertheless, we do not hesitate to consume synthetic molecules (not natural). Falling asleep then occurs at the expense of our left and right hemispheres. The same is true for our digestive tract.

Bad habits

Then, by consuming these tranquilizers , the following variation slowly sets in, also depending on the length of time these wonders are taken.

  1. We become addicted to it.
  2. Our sleep is artificial, if it already exists.
  3. We introduce toxic products into our bodies.
  4. We destroy the blood-brain barrier, which protects the brain from attacks by toxic products and well-known degenerative diseases.
  5. Toxic products arrive in the digestive tract for which it is neither designed nor prepared!
  6. These products are expensive for the community.
  7. With these chemicals, we often destroy the biodiversity of raw materials to produce products that are not necessary for life.
  8. The money used to produce and pay for these tranquilizers could be used for better causes (medical or humanitarian).
  9. The day you decide to give it up, you only realize that you are more heavily dependent than you thought.
  10. Unused tablets and pills that end up in the trash will swell the ranks of toxins that pollute the Earth, our Earth, that of our children.

Preparing for sleep

We must prepare for our sleep ... during the day. You will tell me: "but I have to work, I don't have time for that". All this is true, except that one day you risk being on sick leave due to depression, anxiety or depressive state. Whatever the name of this condition, you will certainly not come out a winner. On the other hand, the time that you will lose, or cause to be lost, will be incommensurable with the few minutes per day that you would need to prepare for your sleep.

Good sleep is earned, so let ’s earn our sleep.

Let's get rid of everything that can be. Our past has been, it is, and nothing can change it. So, let's stop feeling sorry for ourselves, because it won't change anything. We have all lacked love, mom, dad, parents, friends, buddies, clothes, nice glasses, attention, education, toys, shoes, furniture, better food. I could continue this list because everyone has felt a lack at some point. Individually, we need these little moments of happiness, these lessons, these failures or these successes. The time that passes, the places where we have lived, the readings we have read, the sufferings are more or less well supported. Let's just say that what I am today is the result of the moments lived, the path taken.

Take stock

With this personal experience, can I learn something that could prevent me from having to endure what I can no longer bear? Do I want to, or can I improve my relationships with others... and with myself? Do I really love myself? I must answer myself sincerely and objectively. I must remain indulgent towards myself, but nevertheless firm. I must do everything possible to turn the page on memories. I must also draw up a list of behaviors to change, of things to do on a daily basis. Never again blame others for my troubles or setbacks. This way of seeing things must above all lead me to develop solutions.

Solve your problems

Indeed, to solve a problem, you need to know all the data. In this case, it is the same person who is both the cause and the victim. By attributing our problem and its responsibility to the other, it is to this other that we ask the resolution of our problem. This is not the way we will be able to solve our problems. This way, we will never manage to solve this one. Since it is not our fault, it is the fault of the other. Let us accept our responsibilities.

By becoming aware of our real role involved, we will very quickly feel the solution. It is at this moment that our pride will fall. The game will be won. Our brain will gradually be freed because by glimpsing our responsibilities, solutions will appear. Then little by little, each problem will find its solution and in the end most of the problems will disappear. The guilt disappears. You, you like it much better. Each step must be climbed after the previous one, we will be able to move on to the next one.

Open your heart.

People who have their hearts open to the world are more serene, more confident, calmer, less stressed. Their serenity and wisdom dominate all trials, so they never seek their sources in material goods. Thus, their love is universal. It is a love that does not stop at family, clan, group, neighborhood, ethnicity, race or country. We humans come from the same "original source cell". We are therefore all brothers and sisters. Because everything that exists is a little bit of us, we have in us a little bit of others. "Thinking, speaking and acting with your heart is giving yourself happiness". I imagined this sentence after reading Raoul FOLLEREAU who, thinking of lepers, said this. "Live, to help them live".

Meals

After helping the soul, mind or spirit to sleep, without any pretension of having gone around it, we must think about the best diet for sleeping. The energy and oxygen that we have in our body are consumed primarily by our brain and stomach during digestion. In addition, our brain works constantly, so it must be fed continuously. On the other hand, nothing requires filling our stomach in the evening. Some foods require a lot of energy for digestion and metabolism. It is true that a few rare people find their account there, these remaining the exception. To improve our chances of a good sleep, let's eat light dinners two to three hours before going to bed.

The ideal conditions

If possible, do not eat dinner while watching television, or while raising family discussions where opinions diverge too much. The purest foods can turn into toxic substances through the actions of emotions or stress. Watching difficult images, violent films will also condition your mind in this sense. Do not be surprised if you have nightmares or have a restless sleep that is not very beneficial. A good book is certainly better. A small warm shower can help you discharge the electricity stored during the day here and there. The person writing these lines has also had his difficult periods and has never taken anything to sleep, except for a few herbal teas. Good restful sleep.
